specifically for our customers field requirements by our in
house technical specialists. Our chemicals are applied specifically
to provide economical cost effective solutions and to allow
increases in productivity, cost reductions and HS&E benefits
to our clients. Roemex Production Chemicals pride ourselves
not only on the chemicals we design, manufacture and effectively
apply in the field, but on our commitment to customer service
through continuous evaluation and improvement of our processes,
products and services. A variety of chemicals mainly of an
organic nature are used in enhancing production of oil and
gas and mitigating problems associated with the production
of oil and gas. Such production chemicals fall in to the following
broad categories:

- Demulsifiers
- For the separation of oil, water (and gas) emulsions
- Deoilers -
Improvement of produced water clarity to meet governmental
specifications for overboard discharge
- Corrosion Inhibitors
- Protection of production plant and associated flowlines,
pipelines etc from corrosive environments particularly
sea water and produced water
- Scale Inhibitors/Dissolvers
- Mitigation and prevention of scale formation from either
produced or co-mingled waters under certain conditions
of temperature and / or pressure
- Wax/Paraffin Inhibitors
- Prevention of paraffin deposition due to temperature
declines and the enhancement of production from crude
oils with high wax contents and / or high pour points
- Biocides -
Treatment of bacterial populations, which can cause reservoir
souring, biofouling and corrosion problems. Also for the
treatment of raw, sea or aquifer water for re-injection
purposes
